April Tournament: The Buckle Shoot
This tournament offers a unique shooting experience with a variety of 3D targets. It is generally held mid-April with shooting hours Friday evening through Saturday. It features a unique shooting experience with 2 courses. There is a long course with 25 3D animals with up to 40 yard shots and a short course with 25 3D animals at closer yardages. After an archer shoots their “competitive round”, they are then assigned a number for handicap purposes. The Open Class is 2 archers of any combined handicap score that team up for a chance to win a Western Style Buckle and cash prizes. The 16 Class is 2 archers of a 16 combined handicap score that team up for a chance to win a Western Style Buckle and cash prizes. The 10 Class is 2 archers of a 10 combined handicap score that team up for a chance to win a Western Style Buckle and cash prizes. This tournament also offers a Cub Course for the youth in our Scheels Youth Archery Range. And if you are an ACA member, stick around for Sunday and join the ACA Membership for the ND ACA State Indoor 3D.
