This time of year is a special time for most of us. It is a wonderful time to get out and make memories with family and friends. I hope everyone has that opportunity as this state has so much to offer to those that choose to live here.
I'm sure many of you have noticed that the wildlife took a big hit after last year's hard winter. I hope that this year we will all get a break.
As any of you that have used the archery range this summer or fall have seen, the club keeps making improvements; whether it be targets, bow racks, shooting stands or one of the many other projects that made the to-do list. All of this is done by members who are proud of what the club has to offer and help out where they can. All I can say is what a pleasure it is to work with such members.
Nishu has another busy winter schedule planned. With tournaments in January, February and March, leagues, archery classes and open shooting times, the building will be used every day of the week. For access card holders there will usually be at least one of the indoor ranges open during leagues and classes, just for them. If you are interested in helping out and meeting a bunch of good people you can do so by contacting any board member; they are all very helpful and can answer just about any question you might have.
I wish all of you the best of luck and enjoy the fall season while you can. Shoot straight and have fun - Ryan Bauer
