The Nishu Bowmen Club, in partnership with the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District and the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, will be able to complete the building of a much anticipated indoor archery range at the site of the current outdoor range on Riverwood Drive by winter of 2009. The 90' x 150' facility will provide a permanent, year-round location and allow Nishu Bowmen, the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District and other organizations to conduct archery leagues and classes, tournaments, Bowhunter education classes and adaptive archery classes.

The new facility will also serve restrooms needs for those using the Riverwood trail and Walt Neuens Memorial Horse Park.

With the increased space and year-round site, the club can attract new membership and host more tournaments and events. This attracts more participants and visitors to Bismarck - Mandan and impacts local businesses.

Generous Nishu Bowmen members and area businesses have already generated over $117,000 to go toward building construction, but we still need your help.
